20th Anniversary Celebration Box - May 15th Delivery

Round 2 of Our Anniversary Box!

At the start of 2024, I told you we were going to have a year round celebration. The store turns 20 in April and we have some amazing things planned.  We started off the year with our year round Maker’s Bingo. This has inspired so many crafters to bust out a new project or to pick up their current UFO’s and get them finished.  Our next exciting release to honor our anniversary is a Limited Edition Anniversary Box!

When I first started at Have You Any Wool… Bridget asked me who my favorite dyers were. My list started with “Mira from Baah”. I love her bright and bold colors and her squishy yarn bases.  When I knew I was going to put together something really special, I immediately called Mira to create a limited edition colorway. Mira was thrilled to help. The colorways are a beautiful teal and purple variegated mix, and a solid purple that complements perfectly. The best part of these yarns is the names they were given, “HYAW Family”, and “HYAW Community”. These names came straight from you, our customers; we wouldn’t have made it 20 years without YOU!

What fun is beautiful yarn without a pattern? For our knitter’s we partnered with Jill from Knit Sisu to design a beginner-friendly shawl pattern. Jill did an incredible job; the shawl looks stunning and has amazing texture and drape. For our crocheter’s we have Melissa Woods’ “One More Time Infinity Scarf”. This beginner-friendly pattern utilizes an extended single crochet stitch that really pops the speckles in the yarn. Please let us know when ordering if you would like the knit or crochet pattern.

Did someone say project bag? No anniversary box would be complete without a project bag to carry your limited edition yarn and pattern in. Sue from Knit2Together made a sock sack that matches the yarn perfectly. This sack really is the perfect complement to the yarn!

When you pre-order your anniversary box, you receive the items listed above but we have a few more surprises in store for you!  You can place your pre-order on our revamped website haveyouanywoolmi.com, in-store or over the phone 248-541-9665. The Anniversary Box will be available in store for pick-up starting May 15 . We have an extremely limited amount of these boxes and once they are gone, that’s it. While you excitement builds; come in and see the yarn and bag in person. Our samples of the shawl and scarf will be in store soon!
